Organizational Structure

Overview of Services

Jumuah Prayers: The Friday Khutbah’s purpose is motivational and educational, with the message of each Khutbah carefully selected so that it can bring about changes in attitudes and behavior through knowledge, understanding, and awareness.

Taraweeh Prayers: The Taraweeh prayer and detailed Quranic Tafsir will be presented by a renowned Islamic scholar or qualified person.

Eid Prayers: The congregational prayers will be arranged at the masjid or rental halls to facilitate larger gatherings.


Funeral Prayers: The congregational prayer will be arranged upon request of community members to seek pardon for the deceased and provide community support.

Weekend School: MSI provides weekend education for youth members (over the age of 5) to gain knowledge that will help achieve a firm understanding of their faith, ethics, and morals according to Islamic tenets upon paid registration. The Islamic school will consist of volunteer
teachers/assistants.

Educational Programming

MSI holds regular lectures and special events in which the community
may expand their knowledge. The programs may include: Quran commentary and wisdom, details of sacred law, seerah and lessons from the life of the Prophets, history of Muslim civilization, the proper performance of rites of worship, civic issues and duties, etc.

Community Outreach

Community Center: MSI can be used as a place for the community to hold special events, meetings, and serve as a safe and wholesome space for community members/youth to learn, participate in athletics, and socialize in a dignified manner.

Charity: MSI will to the best of their ability support needy families in the community or greater territories.

Dawah: MSI will uphold the mission in spreading Islam and supporting dawah campaigns, including supporting Non-Muslims to understand Islam, New Muslims to assimilate, and people in prisons. Materials that will be distributed include: copies of the Quran, books, pamphlets – in
English, Spanish, and other languages.

MSI is an independent entity. Any affiliations with other Islamic organizations must be approved by the Majlis-al-Shura. The following organizations are approved affiliations to date:
